Faith is a natural part of being a Christian. I began thinking about it when I went into online business. I get challenged, empowered and encouraged by faith.
The stories in the Bible
I love the stories in the Bible about:• Miracles • Healing • Rebuked storms • Blind people being able to see againThe stories show God's power. Some people have had experiences, which are difficult to explain by natural laws.I believe God can do more than we can understand. In Hebrew 11:3 we read: By faith we understand that the universe was formed at God's command, so that what is seen was not made out of what was visible. (NIV) I love it. It confirms God's power. God created everything.
What is Faith?
What is faith? Faith is a response to God's love. It's my reaction to what God planned. I have two choices: Be passive or take action upon the instructions. Taking action according to what God planned is faith. A positive response is what I want, also at times when I feel uncomfortable about it. I believe what the Bible says: And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose. (Romans 8:28) I turn to Bible verses in difficult times. It helps me back on track. Sometimes it seems like situations never change. But God always answer. He has said so in Matthew 21:22: If you believe, you will receive whatever you ask for in prayer. I'm comfortable also when I wait the results from prayers.
God's able to Change Anything
God's able to change anything. He'll give me the answers I need. I trust Him and leave everything to Him. It's a question whether I trust God enough? As Christians we trust God as the children learn to trust their parents. Children are at their parents' mercy. Christians are at God's mercy.
The Holy Bible
The Bible is a tool to learn more about God. He created me, which is why I also have the capacity to know Him. As a Christian, I need to be awake and do what God wants me to do. The more I read in The Holy Bible, the clearer it is, everyone has a unique gift. I feel called to use my gift in Christian entrepreneurship. Reaching this point was difficult since it's a big decision going into online business. I had to go online and create everything from scratch. The Bible and God's Word gave me the strength I needed. The pressure how to handle finances and thinking about whether the customers would be there once I was ready to sell was huge. But God's support was bigger. I knew God was with me, Even if I was unsure if my business would fly, I knew God would lead me through the process. The Holy Bible has many inspiring stories about Christian entrepreneurs. I read about Abraham. I read about David.Seeing how God follows up gave me the courage to take the leap of faith.I have a vision for how I can do my small part for a better world. Some people serve in church. I help through Christian entrepreneurship. We all have different tasks in God's kingdom.
The Christian life is about giving. Christian entrepreneurs with a business have the possibility to give. Often they have a better opportunities to give than other people due to their business. It requires confidence to be involved in business. But it's worth it. If God has given a person the ability and talent to earn money, I believe the person should stay humble and keep serving the Lord with his gift to change the world. God has given us what (Deuteronomy 8:18) we have:But remember the Lord your God, for it is he who gives you the ability to produce wealth, and so confirms his covenant, which he swore to your ancestors, as it is today. (NIV)God wants us to use our talent. Use the talent, work for God with a heart full of love for Him. A Christian life is sometimes troublesome. We'll face challenges. But, we can tap into a powersource that will lead us though the the challenges. God supports His children's . It's also allowed being thankful and happy when we feel life is good. If the business is doing good, if your family achieve something, be happy. Enjoy it. We are meant to live a joyful life.
The Christian community online grows day by day. Keep the lines open when you are online to be a light. Never before have we had such a possibility to be heard. Use it to spread God's word.
